Love bite ~ 24x36

Orphan brown bears Juniper and Fern became best friends at only 9 months of age when each was rescued from the wild, having lost their mothers. Alaskan coastal brown bear, Juniper is the rascal of the 2 and likes to ambush Montana Grizzly Fern where they live together at woodland park zoo in Seattle. Watching their rough and tumble play as they have matured into full grown bears has been the joy of my zoo life! I wanted to capture this aspect of their relationship in this piece of art. This painting is available at

Corwin Galleries in Hamilton MT with a good portion of the profits going to the zoo’s Forests For All campaign.
