Tasha the sloth bear resides at Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. I had originally titled this piece Morning Prayers because of the placement of her paws. After giving her a dash of glitz with the gold leaf and especially the one gold claw, I changed it to fit appropriately. One thing I find funny about these bears is their expression of surprise on their faces. This painting was created for my solo show “Art 4 Animals” with special pricing designed to get it into the hands of collectors that are dedicated to animal conservancy.
