This Grizzly sow is protecting an endless territory. I created my Celestial Series with BIG in mind and this one fits the bill! Few animals are more daunting than a protective grizz on her hind legs. She means business! Mostly spray paint was used in this background with some gold leafing scattering off the razor sharp claws. She is painted with oils on this smooth aluminum surface, and at 48”x36” it comes close enough to real life to make you gasp. Shadow mounting framework makes this contemporary piece look as if it were floating off the wall. If you want to make a clear statement this is the art for you!
