I was invited to paint this for the 1st annual show at the AR Mitchell Museum in Trinidad CO in October 2022. Participating artists chose from the extensive photo archives of the famous cowboy artist Mitchell and depicted the photo in their own style. At the show both the original art and the photo were exhibited side by side. It was a fun concept and an opportunity to paint in an experimental manner.
