Having had a marvelous Safari adventure in 2021, Cheryl amasses 100's of photo references, but the most comical were those she took of giraffes. Their towering and gangly bodies belied their seeming gentleness. And how they chewed their leaves created a goofy persona that gives her joy to this day just thinking of it. This painting was accepted into the Women Artists of the West's 52nd National Juried show at the McBride Gallery in Annapolis MD. Now available through the artist.
