Cheryl captured these two while in Costa Rica on a photo trip in 2025. The expressions on their faces gave the impetus for her to paint them as if they were falling for each other. Using her favorite aluminum that showcases her brushwork, Cheryl has created a world of lush color as a backdrop to this avian Romeo and Juliet. Oil paint and gold metal leafing were used and finished with a coat of Gamvar varnish to seal it for decades to come, this piece will remind you of the thrills that come from that early stage of attraction.
